No railing along the front entrance steps. Very steep set of stairs to climb which lacked a railing halfway up. The bedroom was nicely appointed. The in-room bathroom was tiny & awkward to use. AC was barely adequate to cool the room and blew on my head all night because of the room layout. I had to stay there because my drive took longer than expected, we had a late check in, and there was no other place available at that hour and on short notice. Saw the host once at check-in and then she disappeared. Breakfast was 100% carbohydrates and was provided as a "grab & go" paper bag. Condition of the premises was old and definitely needs a complete renovation/\[aint job. No deadbolt on the door. Surface run "bell wiring" around the doorway to an unknown load. None of the receptacles were grounded. The television set up was awkward with no way to arrange the cable box and TV on the same stand. This is a very old inn, so don't expect everything modern, but the comfort was there. Like waking up at grandmas. The room was cool and clean...which was amazing in the heatwave.
