"Room was clean and service was great. Facilities are a bit old. Would recommend the hotel to provide bathrobes - I was surprised that a hotel rated 5 stars didn't have bathrobes in the room."

"A pleasant hotel in the northern part of Cairns. Decor is a bit dated but we had a clean and spacious room. The noise from next doors shower would suggest the walls are thin. The on-site restaurant Finn Finn serves authentic Thai food and is recommended."

"Enjoyed staying at the Pacific Cairns. Five minute walk to the where the boats for the Islands depart and the day bus tours. Very central to eating places like the Night Markets. The bar fridge is a decent size and the bed and pillows very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you don’t have a car like was our case. The staff were friendly and helpful."
