Hotel tired and in need of a refresh.

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: The staff were well trained, polite and efficient. They were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: The general standard of the building the interior decor and the car park could be better. It all works but there is no feeling of comfort or class.
Location: I have no idea I was using the hotel as a base to visit sites across Belgium.
Both the interior and the exterior are in need of some TLC if not a complete refresh. The flooring in the restaurant is worn and in places threadbare. The stairwell from the car park is narrow and poorly maintained. The staff were however, courteous, very efficient and welcoming. The food was acceptable and served professionally by the very thoughtful staff.

Nice hotel with easy access by tram to Gent

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: It was very convenient next to the tram station, so we were able to enjoy an evening in Gent with no hassle.
Cons: Our only comment is that there was not suffiicent tea bags, or coffee for two persons in the room and no milk. English people love their milk, especi
Six of us from England spent one night at the hotel on 20 June 2014. We were very pleasantly surprised about the quality of the hotel and really enjoyed our very short stay. Well done.

Out of nowhere!

Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: Standard were services
Cons: Put the building closer to Ghent ;-) Breakfast too expensive
Location: Awful for public transport!
It was a mistake to stay in this hotel and I will not recommend it.

GPS clashed with reality.

Posted May 10, 2014
Location: Nothing is near by.
The only problem was the roads getting to the hotel and back in again. They didn't match the GPS and the signs weren't clear on which direction we would be going once on the freeway.

needs a refresh

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: the staff
Cons: needs to be redecorated.
Location: excellent transport links mean you are not far from anywhere.
Hotel needs a lick of paint to freshen up. the plug sockets were not secure and pulled out of the wall and furniture. on the plus side the hotel staff were very helpful, the room are big enough and the bed was comfortable all in all a nice place to stay as the transport links are second to none in Belgium so 15 minutes on a tram gets you into the old part of the city.

Tired hotel that needs updating

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Nothing in particular...breakfast selection OK, room OK, parking not too expensive.
Cons: Power outlets in rooms. For example, new kettle for making coffee and tea, but only power outlet to far away for short power lead. Wifi poor.
Location: Best thing..convenient for tram to city centre
All aspects acceptable but overall would not stay again if alternatives available

Standard basic hotel

The hotel is located outside the city. Plenty parking spaces. We were travelling with our own car so this is pretty handy for us. The room is basic but comfy and clean.

Good bang for your buck!

Posted Jan 2, 2014
Good value hotel, clean and comfortable room, bed and pillows. Location is close to the highway and tram station. Approx. 5 mins into Ghent city centre by tram. Breakfast seemed pricy at 15 euro/pp. Tip: walk across the parking lot to Ikea and eat there if you are on a budget. Also we were charged a hotel tax of an extra 2.50 euro /pp/night upon check out. That was a bit of a surprise since we were not told about that charge at check in. Other than that all was good and we would recommend this hotel and we would return if we went back to Ghent.

Nice hotel. Comfortable room and allow dogs which is greay although charge €15 for them. Room had a damp ball in it presumably from previous guests which was a bit gross as you question the cleanlinedd but was fine and had English TV.
