"It was cute and perfect. We spent alot of time just chilling on the deck just watching the loons and geese. You could watch turtles come near the dock too. Great place for a couple to stay!"

"The home is charming, immaculate and amidst woods with no neighbors in eye or earshot. It is on a dirt road, so an awd vehicle is a good idea. A stream runs along the driveway. The Ottauquechee River is across the road. The bathroom is on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. The smoke detector goes off if you saute on the stove. I recommend learning how to turn off a wired in smoke detector. You should open the kitchen window when you saute, because most of the smoke detectors...

"I loved the cabin specially during the night. Its so beautiful and calm its the place to be when you need peace of mind. I recommend anyone who would love to be in tone with nature this is the spot. Proprietors are amazing hosts. Looking forward in returning."

"Although the stream was devastated by the Vermont floods, it was still enjoyable to relax and watch pass by. Several opportunities to explore the area for fishing and hiking. Host was very accommodating and attentive. The wood burning stove made some of best vacation breakfasts ever. Great vacation!"

"My husband and I plus our 3 yr old dog Rags spent a wonderful couple of days at the Carriage House. The location was perfect within easy reach of Woodstock and the house was beautifully decorated, warm comfortable and spacious. The owners left us a pair of eclipse glasses which was such a thoughtful touch. We hope to visit again soon!"

"This is probably one of the best views and experiences I’ve had in a short-term rental. The scenery was superb and so relaxing. I was here at the end of February, with snow on the ground, and it was a winter wonderland. The cabin itself is well-appointed and very comfortable, even for such a small space. I had all the pots and pans I needed to cook for one every day. (I stayed here for 2 weeks, which is probably longer than most people.) Remember the fridge size and don’t over shop! Tankless...

"Got there Monday to no TV. Read the book and it said to use the washer/dryer at your own risk. Tuesday, the kitchen sink started leaking and I called Trevor and Amanda. I left them a voicemail and never heard back from them. Wednesday, the ceiling started leaking water on the floor. At this point, I was done. I contacted hotels.com and they to tried getting in contact sign the property and couldn’t. I’m currently trying to get my money back. Don’t waste your money here "
