We stayed there from April 15 to 18; the weather was perfect and we saw a big bear in the woods which made our stay even more exciting y (pictures and video were taken). "We loved the log cabin in the woods for our NYE celebration. It's quaint and has so much charm. The check-in process and communications were excellent. It is about 4.5 miles off the main road so it is in a remote area. It was great for us since we had our dog and it had a huge property for him to run around. "This is our second time staying here. This year I was a little disappointed in my stay at this house. We were informed on the day of arrival that the dryer was replaced and would be hooked up three days after the start of our rental. There was some dialogue with the local manager and the local managers supervisor during the course of our stay, but in the end we never had use of a dryer in the house. "Stayed here just the two of us (my wife and myself) for our wedding anniversary. The house is huge and very nicely decorated, clean with beautify views. Far away from noise and people with beautiful hiking trails just a walk down the street. A+ if you want to get away from the city without other tourists around."
