It was so much better than staying at a hotel, and if you are hoping to see one of those cool (not so) little banana slugs, they are around here. We saw at least a half dozen large ones with even more babies. The location is also perfect, with stores and restaurants nearby, 40 minutes from San Jose airport, 20 minutes from Santa Cruz boardwalk and 5 minutes from Roaring Camp and Henry Cowell state park.
