"Since the cabin didn't have plumbing, They had a black tank under the cabin, it was so full the vapors were in the cabin. Not only was the smell so bad it set off my husband's copd, he had alot of problems breathing inside the cabin. On our check in day we arrived about 5pm, the cabin wasn't cleaned, trash, empty beer cans and unchanged bedding. We left the next morning, notified management. And to top everything off, no refund from VRBO. I recommend no one ever going here. "

Mary and Jay were incredibly welcoming hosts who clearly love their animals, and are eager to share their experience with them if you are interested. Incredibly, almost all of the animals on their farm - cats, dogs, mini donkey, horses, and one of the alpacas - loved being petted. The location is beautiful, private, and peaceful. "Booked for 4 nights. After 3 nights we left and checked into a hotel. I got an email from Expedia asking how it was going. I sent a message saying there were problems. The stairs outside were unlit and dangerous. Didn't realize the problem until we got back from supper. Pitch black and no lights. My friend fell and cut her leg and hand. "Recently stayed the cozy cabin for a delightful weekend in the mountains. The cabin is lovely, especially the new master suite, bathroom, and beautiful wrap around deck. There’s almost no need to go anywhere, just sit and enjoy the views, the fireplace, and lovely location. That said, it’s super easy to get to Shenandoah and Front Royal as well, making it a perfect landing spot for activities in the region. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend."

"We had an absolute amazing time at this cabin. Not only was it very clean but they used labels to help you find out which light switches turned on what and where things went so we could easily find/use whatever we needed in the cabin. There was only one dish towel but the other linens provided were fine. Only suggestion would be more dishtowels. The beds were comfortable, so was the couch! We loved our stay!"
