“Clean and comfortable”

Although bare bones, the room was clean and had a small fridge and microwave--unexpected extras. The beds were very comfortable! The staff was courteous and helpful. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

“Dirty and Disappointing”

My husband and I chose this motel as a one-night stay on the way to our shore vacation. Since we would not be spending much time in the room, all we were expecting was a clean room. The furniture was dated but we didn't care about that. The comforter on the bed was full of cigarette holes and stains. I was so glad that I happened to have along with me a blanket (for our shore vacation) that I was able to use. We wouldn't even think of sitting down in the upholstered chair. The towels in the bathroom were literally threadbare, with only a bath towel and washcloth, no hand towels or bathmat. The room had not been vacuumed well and several items were dusty. Ironically on the outside looked like it was remodeled, and the bathroom was in good shape. It is if the first time I was ever afraid in a motel stay.
