Had a great stay for a family of four. Had 2 queen beds, limited ocean view. Rooms were clean. Water pressure was okay. Wish there were outlet plugs near the beds that were easier accessed for phone charging. We were able to get beach and parking passes earlier to take advantage of the day before checking in. We didn’t use the umbrella and chair amenities, but walking to the beach was so convenient and easy. The beach wasn’t overly crowded when we went too. Pool was nice and big and had an area fenced off for smaller kids and babies which I appreciated. Staff was friendly in the restaurant when we ordered breakfast to go. One thing to note is that this hotel is located pretty far from where most of the restaurants are, so expect to drive. Would recommend coming here!

The La Mer Beachfront Resort is an excellent place to stay! The facilities are updated, clean, and allows easy access to the beach. The beach services were particularly wonderful because it meant I did not need to bring anything to the beach-- they had it all there for you! This meant no additional packing, and no carrying of all the beach necessities through the sand. I only have two minor complaints. The first being a lack of coffee. The rooms have a single serve keurig with creamer packets but it would be lovely to have coffee in the lobby with some actual cream. The second was the showerhead, which was a large rainfall head. Unfortunately, these just do not do a good job of providing enough water pressure to clean off sand or even properly wash your hair. Other than that, a beautiful property on a quieter side of Cape May. I would definitely stay here again.

The “late departure facility” is a hot outdoor shower with a pit for water and a waiting line. Not a “facility” at all nor locker room like other similarly priced hotels in the area. Had I been told it’s one outdoor shower I would have made other plans regarding beach and dressing. Otherwise we enjoyed the place.

Did not like location of room. Right outside of our room was the snack machine. People congregated and were talking and laughing. Also, had left by room at 11:30 turned on maid service and came back to a room that was not cleaned. Called and told it was too late maid service not available. However, they finally sent upmaid service. Disappointed This is a very expensive hotel resort and it was just not up to its usual services. Probably will not go back. Sad because we really enjoyed staying there Beach umbrellas rusty and dirty. Not worth the cost

Mentioned to the front desk the fridge smelled like fish twice. Was not addressed, despite my patience. Everything we put in ended up smelling like fish and it stunk up our car when we brought things home. Window leaked water into the bedroom from the rainstorm, also not addressed. The floor of the unit was quite dusty and covered in hair. Likely not mopped recently. P42 is off site and parking is a short walk away. Not ideal but workable. Location was great, steps from the beach, great view from the balcony. Just wish they took care of the property and guests better. Wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel! We went there to celebrate my birthday. The room was beautiful; it was renovated so everything was brand new. We loved it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! I hope I will return there soon.

This was our second year staying here and we love it. Beautiful rooms and grounds. Staff very friendly. Just an amazing vibe all the way around . We will be coming back. Unfortunately the weather for the days we were there was pretty awful but the hotel did what it could by providing movie days and the front desk staff offered suggestions as to indoor activities around the Cape May area.we still had an amazing time even though the weather did not cooperate.
