Basic room close to beach
This property feels more like a youth hostel than a hotel. It is rated as a 3 star, but I would rate it 1.5 to 2 stars. The staff was excellent...friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The accommodations were bare bones. The AC worked, which was a plus. And there is a small kitchenette. But it was not a room to comfortably spend time in. It is close to the beach front, and there are many shops and restaurants, but it is not a family friendly area.

A good choice
Clean, and they were nice to accommodate by 1am check in. Unfortunately had no shampoos, so I had to ask for. Otherwise, nice.

Great hosts, good location, rooms are ok
The flats are in a good location, close to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. The hosts (owner and his two sons) are extremely hospitable and make guests feel very welcome. The rooms are ok overall, they are not luxury but do the job. We did however have problems with the toilet not flushing.

Very friendly family, that owns that place.
Our navigation system failed to find that place. But two of the family members of the owner did wait for us, even if we arrived after mid night. They gave us a wonderful warm welcome that did include traditional Greek Cookies and a bottle of Red wine, made in Crete. The Apartment was clean, but could only become heated with two "reversed window-air-conditions", that run that noisy, that my fiancé could not sleep well. The Bathroom, were Heating in the winter time is most important, had NO HEATER at all and was illuminated by a 10 Watt Light bulb, that was one of it's kind, so I could not replace it to use a stronger one. The apartment is not even equipped with basics, like hooks to hang up jackets or umbrellas. No kitchen cabinet to store groceries, no toaster, very few cooking pots, not in good shape. The kitchen electro oven has no numbers, showing the volume of the heat that is supplied in the moment, you have to guess. The washing machine did run once, after that it was damaged. During our 10 days stay, there was only one house keeping. Overall, it's definitely a "NOGO" to stay in that place.

good basic apartment with nice verandah
these are basic clean apartments, we had a large airy room on the first floor with three single beds and air conditioning. There is a bathroom with wall attached hairdryer and a good shower; then a small kitchen for cooking (which we didn't)with cutlery and pots; a fridge, kettle and coffee filter machine. You have to get your own toiletries and washing up stuff. There is a change of sheets and towels every day, bar Sunday. The verandah is big enough to sit out at a small table and 2-4 chairs. It overlooks the street, ours faced a kindergarten with trees in front, the view going on to the rest of the town and then mountains and sky. Niko and George ( father and son of the family who own the apartments) are very kind and helpful and one of them is usually around if there are any problems. The locationis a 5 minute toddle to the waterfront where the restaurants and bars are; 10 minutes walk from the town centre and supermarkets, so it is very handy for pottering about. All in all, we were pleased with the apartment, just what we needed for our ten day stay.

Not good experience,even though the owner was very nice we didnt get our apartment he said there was a problem with the shower and he took us to apartment next door.We were tired after a delay in our flight and it was 11pm so we went to the other place and it was awful it was dirty but we were tired so just settled and decided to sort it out next day.To my horror when we woke in the morning it was torunt find out we had been sleeping on dirty mattresses and the shower was filthy,we went next door and told them we couldnt stay there and that we found out it was the rooms of the workers we had been put in.The son was very nice and him and his dad then took us to another hotel for our stay he said we could stay for three days until he fixed the shower but after what we had been in we decided to stay put.We gave low scores because the apartments didnt look like the picture and it didnt have a pool and we booked a sea view and where it was situated there was no sea view.The owner and his son were very nice but my husband and i were very disappointed by the problem and would never book again.The bad rating are for the terrible apartments they put us in next door.We wanted a hassle free break after my husbands mother died but sadly we picked the wrong apartments.

Great self catering appartments We were given a warm welcome by the owner, Nicos and his sons who were extremely hospitable. We had a 2 bed apartment for my wife, myself & 3 kids. The apartments were nice, to a good standard, exceptionally clean and tidy. We had a fridge, cooking facilities and a washing mashing In our airconditioned apartment. They were a very short walk from the sandy beach, about 100 meters away. We were also near the promenade with its shops, restraunts and bars. Everything needed was all within a short walking distance. Our hosts themselves were lovely people. Extremely hospitable who went out of their way to cater for our requirements. We were given complimentary wine and Greek sweets and were even given a late cut as we had a later flight to catch. This was helpful as my wife is pregnant and we had three young kids with us. Nicos was very knowledgeable, gave us directions to all sorts of desirable locations and arranged taxis for us. I was very happy with my drag at the Erofili appartments and had a brilliant holiday. Thank you Nicos, see you next year.

Ii'm sorry to say; It smells
Arrived with my daughter. We had a room on the first floor with two bedrooms. It seemed authentically Greek, more than authentically Hotel, if you see what I mean, and that was welcome. However in the night, trouble struck. A power cut. Used to be common in Crete, but thought to be better. So the air con in the bedrooms stopped. Fair enough. Later my daughter woke me up saying her room smelt of raw sewage. I told her not to exaggerate. But she was right. Management came up and didn't deny it, but blaming it on adjacent hotels which had pumping systems stopped by power cuts. It was so bad we left, despite having paid for 2 nights. Management refunded the second night, and were very nice. We fled to Heraklion and found a 5 star hotel to get over Erofili Apartments.

During this power cut there were malfunctions in the drainage system of the town and this resulted in this bad smell in the town for a while. So unfortunately there was nothing we could do from our point. It is the first time we had such complaints from a guest. Due to this inconvenience we decided to refund the money you paid for the rest of your stay. We are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. Placed in the city Center, closed to beach and shops but not disturbed. Immediately in front of the structure there is a taxi station. We loved Greek Breakfast. Hosts were kind and helpful. We recommend it.

Lamentablemente no era como prometia ser el lugar, cubiertos disparejos, sin suficientes utensilios en la cocina, de las tres noches que estuvimos, solo una limpiaron nuestro cuarto, la cama no era cómoda. Lo mejor del lugar fue que los que atendían eran super amables y estábamos muy cerca de la playa.

Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hat eine top Lage und ist immer sauber gewesen. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub dort, auch dank der super Tipps des Personals dort.

Wohnung war schön groß, viele Betten (Betten waren ok, man traf sich jedoch in der Mitte in einer Kuhle, aber keine Rückenschmerzen oder ähnliches), keine Sitzgelegenheit außer am Tisch, Küche in wackeligem Strand verbaut aber funktionierte, Besteck teilweise noch dreckig oder Griffe fielen ab. Angepriesene Dusche mit Massagedüsen funktionierte nicht, lediglich das normale Duschen. Waschmaschine einwandfrei. Wände mit schwarzen Flecken (Dreck, kein Schimmel!), Boden mit Flecken. Tresor vorhanden, funktioniert mit Schlüssel. Appartment liegt zum Glück in Seitenstraße, daher ruhig. Kein versprochener Blick auf einen Berg (gibt es sowieso nicht vom ganzen Gebäude aus), sondern auf teilweise vermüllte Grünfläche. TV funktioniert, WLan auch. Vermieter sehr nett und hilfsbereit, man kann sich gut mit ihnen unterhalten. Überteuerter Supermarkt fußläufig entfernt, besser zum Lidl fahren (hinter Voss Furs), ein wenig Strand gibt es auch fußläufig. Mietwagen konnte zu jederzeit unbehelligt stehen gelassen werden. Ggü des Appartments unbedingt das Restaurant Mythos besuchen!

Прекрасные апартаменты
Плюсы: замечательный и очень душевный персонал, администраторы всегда во всем помогут, подскажут и просто рады пообщаться. Очень гостеприимные! При заселении предложили местное печенье, в подарок бутылка критского вина, перед выездом пригласили попить ракии. Номер удобный, вид с балкона на горы и боковой на море. Есть чайник, кофеварка, плита и мини холодильник. Минусы: уборка через день, нет микроволновки. Собственно это единственное, чего нам не хватило =)). В остальном просто замечательное место, рядом всё необходимое: пляжи, таверны, магазины, аптеки, два супермаркета.

Hotel pratique pour passer une nuit avant de reprendre l'avion ... mais l'hotel est quand même un peu vieillissant. ATTENTION la température de l'eau passe de très froid à très très chaud. Limite dangereux, risque de brûlure. Sinon l'hôtel est globalement propre. Pas de parking dédié.

Ci ritorneremo assolutamente!
Il personale sempre molto gentile, le camere sono molto grandi e spaziose, ampia terrazza, 5 min a piedi dalla spiaggia, dal centro e dalla fermata del bus. Lo consiglio vivamente ai ragazzi in quanto si è vicinissimi ad ogni tipo di club notturno.

Mycket trevligt!
Litet personligt hotell centralt beläget. Rummen ligger i omedelbar anslutning till trevliga restauranger och har tillgång till terrass med fin utsikt och skön skugga om dagarna. Rummen är bra med tanke på priset. Personalen (Far och son som driver stället) är den överlägset trevligaste jag har haft nöjet att göra bekantskap!

Poderia ter sido muito melhor!
Fomos recebidos pelo proprietário com muita simpatia e coim uma bela garrafa de vinho; descobrimos que o hotel não possui estacionamento próprio conforme informado, mas sim há um estacionamento público próximo; o quarto em que ficamos, o 308 não aparece em nenhuma foto oficial e tem uma mini cozinha com pia, fogão, frigobar e utensílios dentro de uma espécie de armário, o que diminui o tamanho do quarto; talvez pelo fato de não haver produtos para limpeza: detergente e esponja, os hóspedes anteriores deixaram alguns utensílios sujos, que foram encontrados por nós ao tentarmos usar algo, ou seja, não foi feita uma observação das condições gerais para os próximos hóspedes; no banheiro a porta não abria totalmente; não nos foi disponibilizado também um tapete no banheiro, fazendo com que tudo ficasse molhado; a vista para praia / montanha estava mais para vista de construções e obras; os pontos positivos concentram-se na simpatia do proprietário e de seu filho, muito gentis, atenciosos e que nos deram muitas dicas de locais para visitar. O que valeu mesmo foi a proximidade do Porto, da rua principal de Chersonissos, dos restaurantes à beira mar e de ter a maravilhosa experiência de conhecer Creta.

Appartement spacieux et bien situé. Personnel très accueillant et toujours à votre écoute. Si vous avez une question (visite, plage tranquille, bon plan, horaires de bus...), ils ont la réponse. Super séjour!

Nichts für jemand Enspannung und Erholung sucht.
Die Erwartung war relativ groß, wenn man sich die Bilder im Internet sieht. Die Realität holt einen aber ein, wenn man sich das im Original sieht. Es gibt keinen Meerblick, wie angekündigt. Es fehlte mir an Pflege des ganzen und Sauberkeit, entsprach nicht der Norm.

Un angolo di tranquillità a Hersonissos!
Struttutra molto carina e ben tenuta e soprattutto tranquilla considerato che a Hersonissos di notte domono in pochi! Vicinissima al centro città e al mare, ma in una posizione defilata dalla chiassosa bar street....il peggio che vi potrà capitare è sentire rientrare qualcuno un pò alticcio...ma siamo a Hersonissos ed è normale. Inoltre Nikos e suoi figli che gestiscono la struttura sono davvero gentilissimi e sempre disponibili. Vicino trovate tutti servizi di cui avete bisogno...compreso un ristorante dove si mangia benissimo e fanno uno sconto ai clienti di Erofili del 20% che non guasta afatto: OTTIMO direi!

Un merveilleux séjour.
Un endroit et une ambiance très accueillante, ce lieu tient toutes ses promesses. L'hôtel est propre et le personnel très accueillant. Il est également très bien situé, proche de la plage et des commerces. Je recommande ce lieu pour des jeunes couples ou pour des groupes d'amis, il n'est pas vraiment approprié pour des vacanciers recherchant le calme dans la mesure où il s'agit d'une ville très animée.

Angenehm freundliches Personal - gute Ausstattung
In einer Seitengasse ca. 150 m vom Strand entfernt liegend ist das Hotel eine angenehme Bleibe für einen Strandurlaub, wenn man dem Lärm der Diskotheken am Strand bei Nacht entgehen möchte. Die Betreiberfamilie ist ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Apartement war räumlich großzügig angelegt mit einer integrierten Küchenzeile. Wer mit wenig Komfort auskommen kann, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
