A nice hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Great choice of food at the breakfast buffet, nice pool, excellent customer service from the staff in the bar lounge restaurant.
Cons: Noise levels.
Location: Disney park
This is a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay here. It would have been so much nicer if we were able to get some decent sleep. Getting to sleep was a problem because of noises coming from children running and screaming up and down the corridors. I had to make a complaint after 11pm on two consecutive nights because the rooms on both sides of our room were ridiculously nosey with the TV blaring out, children jumping up and down on the beds and screaming. Whilst this is a hotel geared towards children, one expects a certain amount of noise but at midnight, this is not fair. I was told by the hotel staff that we had come at the wrong time of year as it was the Chinese holidays hmmmm. On the whole, the hotel is great for the kids from goofy making an appearance poolside, Chef Mickey in the restaurant and the Disney shop selling some great merchandise. The bus service to take customers to and from the Disney park is great especially when it's pouring rain outside. The staff in the bar lounge were excellent and the food in this restaurant is wonderful and much cheaper than the buffet restaurant. On the whole a lovely stay just spoiled by the noise from the neighbours.

Noisy outdated hotel

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Staff were friendly and food was good though expensive.
Cons: Management of noise, expense of food, more indoor activities for kids given this is a family hotel.
Location: Good for Disneyland but far from many things.
A chaotic stay with large families and children screaming all night in the rooms. Very noisy and could hear everything in other rooms and in corridors. Used to have a play room for kids to free play which has now been replaced with electronic games, we won't be back.

Perfect for a visit to Disneyland

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Great hotel for a quick visit to Disney and perfect stopover on way to Europe. Pool facilities are fantastic, rooms perfectly adequate for a family of four and bathrooms clean. Would recommend to other travellers just don't go expecting luxury rooms these are standard hotel rooms but the standard of them is good for a short stay.

Pleasant experience. Not spectacular though...

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Friendly and accommodating Staff.
Cons: More Disney Experience should be injected to the Guest staying in the Hotel.
Location: Not too convenient.
Comfortable size. Courteous Staff. More Disney experience could be injected to the Hotel Stay. There was no special feel or difference staying in Disneyland Hollywood Hotel as compact to any 5 Star Hotel in the City. More Disney Theme Personal Experience should be injected to the Guests of the Hotel. The children enjoyed the comfortable stay but no vivid experience could be laid on them.

Stayed in Jun 2014

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Nearby Disneyland
Cons: Able to extend the check-out time for another 2 hours Body lotion not provided
Location: Ngong Ping 360 cable car to see the Big Buddha Citygate Outlet Shopping
Room is spacious with 2 double beds which can accomodate 4 of us. Cute paper cup container with the prints of Mickey Mouse which contained tooth brush however there is no body lotion provided. Official Check-out time is 11am and only additional 1 hour late check-out was granted despite our late check-in time which is at 9pm. Shuttle bus are provided from Sunny Bay MTR which go to Disney Hotel first follow-by Disney Hollywood (about 15min ride).

pay up for being close to the park

Posted Jun 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed 2 nights for/with the kids. If planned to see more than would have stayed elsewhere. HK is expensive but for the price difference this is at least where the park is (You still have to take a shuttle bus running every 10-15 minutes, one stop from this hotel). Rooms are small but okay for the night. Clean. Service is good, though not great. Breakfast buffet is great quality (but pricey), the other cafes inside are not so much. Tickets to park are extra. Park is exactly where the MTR is so using a hotel by the MTR elsewhere may be an option - but then you'd miss out on chef Mickey and Donald showing up on the floor. Hotel has a nice, not too big pool. Wifi is all right. Beds were fine and clean. Surrounds: well, nothing, so paying for the buffet food is given. Children won't pay so they will love it (even the picture with Mickey, take your own camera otherwise it will cost)

Amazing stay at Disney's Hollywood hotel.

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Lot of care has been taken in designing and filling the rooms, kids loved it. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful.
Cons: I would love to see an Indian restaurant and will definitely come back to Disneyland HK again.
Location: The location is a dis-advantage as not many attractions nearby.
The stay at Disney's Hollywood was a wonderful experience, the room was comfy and spacious and special care has been taken to provide necessary items for kids. The shuttle service provided is very good, shuttle plies between the hotels and Disneyland and Disneyland resort MTR station. It would be nice to have an Indian restaurant rather than having a restaurant with a few Indian items on menu because I see a lot of Indian crowd visiting Disneyland and most of them are vegetarians, most amusement resorts in the Asian region have India restaurants and would love to see an Indian restaurant at Disneyland as well. Overall experience was amazing, the kids enjoyed it a lot.

Spacious rooms, good service for a price

Posted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good amenities, good service and cleanliness but all this for a price. The location is some what way out if you intend to go for any nearby shopping, but they do provide shutter services to the nearest MTR.

Quality hotel at Disneyland

Posted Jun 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms are clean & comfortable, free shuttle service to Disneyland. Nice swimming pool with security guards to take care of the kids. The breakfast should have been included for the price we pay, as there are very limited dining options.

Nice hotel at Disneyworld

Posted Jun 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel has free shuttle service to Disneyland. The rooms are quiet comfortable but there is no room service. The Check-in time is 3 pm and check out time is 11 am which isn't good. The dining options are very limited.
