“Disney - The land of Micky Mouse”

It was a pleasant experience to stay in Hollywood Hotel for two nights, the ambience of the hotel was very nice with a Micky Mouse theme all over the place, the fast food breakfast and dinner experience was excellent and the hotel is a perfect place to stay while you visit Disneyland.

“Awesome space to unwind from Asia!”

WE loved this hotel. It didn't feel like we were in Asia any more and that is a GOOD thing. We love Asia, but the hotels leave a little something to be desired... like soft beds and clean floors!

“Walt would be proud.”

I stayed at this hotel the last day of my trip to Hong Kong and it was the highlight of my trip. I wish I had gone there first. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. I missed the morning breakfast buffet because I had to catch my plane. I would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay. Watch out for the drinks by the pool. They are killer!

“Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”

great place to relax after a long day at disney. During my stay i went to the bar/lounge and i watched Disney's Cars while drinking a margarita and eating a chocolate cake. I got to be a child while still being able to be an adult.

“Good location for Disney trip but far from everything else”

The hotel is located very close to the airport so taxi fare was not expensive at all, once there the check in was pretty fast, they provided us with a garden view room with king size bed as requested, unfortunately the room had a very strong smell to painting so we requested to be changed, they moved us to a sea view doble room since they didnt have king size available, a little bit of hassle but it was ok. The rooms are beautiful and kids adore the Mickey Mouse theme and the tv channels showing Disney Channel and bedtime stories. The hotel provides tickets to the park and free shuttle as well, it is perfect to spend the day, come back for a nap and go back for the fireworks. The hotel didn't provide room service but they have 3 restaurant choices for different tastes, they also have a kids activity room with lots of toys and things to do, overall we enjoyed our stay at the Disney Hollywood hotel, this is perfect if you are planning to visit Disney but not convenient for tourism around the other islands.

“Good all around”

Very convenient to trasnsportation into city and airport. Clean, relaxing, friendly staff. I was in Hong Kong for for business and wanted to get away from the typical airport stay but not get too much into the city hassel, this was a great alternative. Skip the buffets, not really worth the pricefor the quality.

“Think twice.”

We stayed a this hotel for three nights and found the accomodations just okay. Not really practical for a stay of more than two nights as it is quite far from nearby places of interest aside from Disneyland and Ngong Ping. Food was too expensive at HKD 188 per head for buffet breakfast. Their alternative was a small cafe that sold only a couple of sandwiches and pasta. It really made me wish there was a 7-11 was just nearby. If I were to chose between this hotel and the Salisbury (YMCA) in Kowloon I will not give it a second thought and opt for Salisbury. If you chose to stay here because of its proximity to Disneyland, think again as it will not really matter because the park opens at 10 AM and there is ample time to travel here by MTR. After visiting Disneyland there is nothing else to do. If your rationale for choosing this hotel is your desire to experience staying in a disney hotel then outright I can tell you that you will not notice any difference at all except for the architecture, the disney gift shop and posters from previous disney movies.

“good, but only if you plan to visit the park”

The hotel is kind of like a Hampton Inn room with a Disney store & a couple of restaurants on the first floor. These restaurants are way overpriced. The food is okay, but not worth the price. The hotel looks nice, but the rooms are not that great. The walls are very very thin, so you hear all kinds of noise at night. The beds are not too comfortable, but okay. The room is big enough, so that is nice. The reason to stay here is proximity to the park. You take a bus to the transportation hub so it saves a bunch of time compared to staying elsewhere in the city. That is worth the price. Once you are done with your park visit, move to another hotel in another area.
