Weird. We arrived at about 7:00pm and the place looked like a ghost town. After 5 minutes we located a guard, who didn't speak English. After a few minutes gesturing he called someone on his mobile who said they would be there in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later someone turned up and opened reception and tried to check us in. This involved booting up the computer, which took another 10 minutes. There was no apology for the appalling lack of service. The rooms were fine - spacious, well equipped and clean. This hotel is miles from anywhere, only consider staying here if you are travelling by car and are carrying your own food & drink.

Away from the hubub

Cons: Remote
Location: Away from town. Fairly close to golf club and waterpark but you need transport.
A lovely apartment. Loads of space in the room and a lovely pool almost always empty. Staff were very obliging though, as the hotel was nearly empty they were not always around. The downside is that it is a long way out of town and you need a taxi if you do not have a car. Excellent value if you don't like crowds.
