"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this clean and quaint cabin. The home is nestled in the mountains with evergreens in the backyard and rushing water echoing around us as we went for our walks. The dog park is right across the street which was perfect for our pet. The owners have provided EVERYTHING you need to make your mountain stay a perfect memory. "We had a group of nine girl friends stay at the Moose Chalet and the weekend couldn't have been more perfect! The location is walkable to various hiking trails and the dining room table accommodated all of us for dinner. "My husband and I stayed at this property with our adult children and infants. It was perfect for us and we really enjoyed the main living area and kitchen space for preparing and enjoying meals. It’s a ways from stores and in our opinion not great restaurants in area so bring your groceries! The views are spectacular, the house has a nice layout, and the area, including ride up from Golden is beautiful. We recommend!!"

Couple things we experienced: The inside had some sort of smell we weren’t sure what it was but it was bad enough to make us get an air freshener; the propane connection to the propane tank on the grill is broken and sprays propane from the connection which is a major safety issue so we couldn’t grill; we couldn’t figure out how to use the ceiling fan but there was another one in there so all good. "We went during seasons so many of the amenities were closed or under maintenance. They do charge a resort fee, but the manager was very accommodating and did reverse the fee because of the situation. Management and front desk were very kind and communicative. Great location to skiing and town."
