"Loafer’s Lodge was everything as described but better! Well-appointed with all the creature comforts of home made our family feel welcome. The mudroom is spacious, heated & included boot/glove dryers so our gear was dry & ready every morning as we headed out the door to the slopes. The open floorplan including the living/dining/kitchen area is terrific for a large crowd or intimate family gatherings with views of the trails at Sugarloaf! "We loved this cozy cabin. It was way out of season but the beds were made, and the location can't be beat. We did miss not having a cutting board, and salt and pepper, but it was such a fantastic spot to see the eclipse. I'll remember it for the rest of my life! Thanks so much for making it great. "We had a fantastic time, only wish we could have spent longer. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for even the beds were comfortable, and the availability of canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, floats, life jackets was way more then we ever expected. Kelsey and Josh and their children were very nice and friendly, and had great recommendations for us about boat rentals, and places to check out. We can't wait to come back for longer next time!"

"We stayed in April to experience the eclipse. The house is right on Moose River. In warmer weather we definitely would have taken advantage of the access as well as the firepit. Close to snowmobile trails and plenty of summer time activities. Would highly recommend. Communication with owner was excellent."

"Everything was good minus the couch cushions constantly were falling off the couch. Appliances didn’t have any lights(fridge ect). Not much you can do about tv due to the size of the place but definitely not the most comfortable looking up 15ft at the tv."
