“Excellent Location & Servce”

It was an excellent location. It is close to all major attractions. The hotel staff is extremely friendly. The room is very spacious. The swimming pool is awesome. I definitely would stay at the same hotel again.

“Would definitely stay again.”

Awesome hotel. Located next to huge mall and tons of places to eat. Service was excellent. Toilet pressure was low, and carpet had a few things on it around the bed. Other than that I was extremely satisfied and would definitely stay there again.

“Will definitely stay there again”

One of the best hotels i have had the privilege to stay in, clean, comfortable and of a very high standard. The staff were friendly,polite and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel, without a doubt.

Area recommendations

A must for all to visit is Chinatown, can be a bit of a hassle but worth it for the bargains that can be purchased, be prepared to haggle, for excellent food in that area visit the Reggae Bar , good portions and very cheap.

Getting around

Taxis can be very cheap, but make sure its a metered cab, if they say off meter, an give u a price, dont take it, as can cost up to four times more than it should

“KL - Good for a weekend break”

Good Hotel and location, would recommend hotel based on this but very disappointed at the additional charge for the internet in the room and especially the cost of this. Also wouldn't recommend booking trips or asking advise from the hotel on where to go in terms of bars or restaurants, found better on my own. KL is a great city for shopping, bars and restaurants as well some great buildings and sights to see, good place to go for long weekend breaks.

“Will go back on next chance”

There are 2 lobbies. One/ of it the Executive suites wing is neat and very appealing. Quiet expensive. The other lobby houses not too expensive, not cheap for sure, rooms and are not as clean as the first one. Receptionist are bit lousy. Who cares? Rooms are neater. But away from the city. Have to walk 10 mins to the sky-train/ monrail to go to down-town.

“KL Magic”

Picked this hotel because we wanted 1 day lying around a pool. It was perfect. Monorail to tourist locations (shopping, chinatown) is just across the road. Hotel is 5 minute walk to Petronis Towers. Tourist Centre is across the road. I felt very safe here and everything was clean and tidy. Recommend including breakfast in your hotel accommodation - it is fantastic with a huge selection including clean fresh fruit. Other restuarants in hotel are expensive compared to local places but what I would pay if in Australia. I just knew there were local restuarants for about 1/2 the price, but I recommend having a good look at conditions before you enter. If you are tired and what guarantee good food, do the buffet 'Vogue' (?) at the hotel, beautiful desserts. The room had a huge king size bed, clean and spacious bathroom, great air conditioning (very important for KL) and plenty of windows with a great view of the Petronis towers and KL tower. Will definately return to this hotel and highly recommend to visitors who want somewhere clean, safe, friendly and close to transport.

Area recommendations

Because of this hotels proximity to the monorail (bukit nanas station), all places you would want to go as a tourist are easily accessible. Go to Bukit Bintang for a great atmosphere at night with lots of street stalls and plenty of food. Visit the Pavillion shopping centre to have a fish spa where you soak your feet in a pool while hundreds of fish eat away the dead skin. It tickles and will make you laugh. Look for food courts under the main street level, here you will find supermarkets and fantastic places to eat dinner. 2 wonton soups, 2 sizzling pork with rice and 2 shaved ice creams for a total of $15 australia dollars. Hop off at Maharajalela station and walk 2 mins to Chinatown (follow signs). Visit in the afternoon and haggle on prices. Great place for wallets, sunglasses, bags, scarfs, belts etc. Go to the tourist centre across the road from the hotel and book a morning or afternoon trip to the Batu Cave - do not feed the monkeys.

Getting around

When you arrive at the Airport get the Air Asia bus to KL Central. It doesn't matter if you did or didnt fly with Air Asia. Once at KL Central go to the Taxi Coupon counter and tell them where you want to go and they issue you a taxi coupon with the price fixed. This is very handy if there is a traffic jam. If you arrive and you are feeling good, walk across the road from the bus area at KL Central and find the monorail. Use this to get to your accommodation as mid morning and afternoon traffic is shocking. Just use the monorail to travel. Buy tickets at the stations for one way journeys. If you are there for a week or so then buy a rail card and top it up with money, otherwise don't worry and just pay each time as there is never a queue. For return journey to the airport, get a taxi from your hotel and make sure the meter is on, back to KL central. Hop on the Air Asia bus again. They go every 30mins and you buy your ticket once there, no booking required.

“Good experience”

This hotel is very near a monorail stop that made it easy to get around. It is also near Petronas Towers. Our room had a view of the towers that are beautiful, especially at night. The hotel has two towers. We were in a room that was not remodeled yet but was comfortable and large enough. Good internet connection too.

Area recommendations

We were in the KLCC area that is good for walking around, a long block from a monorail station, near Petronas Towers and the large KLCC mall. The Bukit Bintang area is better for good restaurants, bars, small shops etc.

“Good value and location, and great service”

Only downside was that room cleanliness didn't quite meet Western standards. Regarding in-room minibar and snack prices - be sure to check them in advance so you're not surprised later - they're closer to Western hotel prices than Malaysia prices.
