“Great place to stay”

I was really impressed with this hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The facilities were great - the swimming pool is huge and the gym extremely well equippped with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi in the change rooms. The location is good - right near a monorail station and just a short cab ride to Petaling street. There are lots of nice restaraunts in the area but for hawker food you need to get out of that area. If you enjoy going out on the weekend clubbing there are heaps of places in this area. The room was nice and had plenty of space - furnishings in the tradtional style..maybe a little outdated now but everything was in good condition. As a travel agent I will definately recommend this to my corporate clients and if I go back to KL again I would stay there again.

“KL Magic”

Picked this hotel because we wanted 1 day lying around a pool. It was perfect. Monorail to tourist locations (shopping, chinatown) is just across the road. Hotel is 5 minute walk to Petronis Towers. Tourist Centre is across the road. I felt very safe here and everything was clean and tidy. Recommend including breakfast in your hotel accommodation - it is fantastic with a huge selection including clean fresh fruit. Other restuarants in hotel are expensive compared to local places but what I would pay if in Australia. I just knew there were local restuarants for about 1/2 the price, but I recommend having a good look at conditions before you enter. If you are tired and what guarantee good food, do the buffet 'Vogue' (?) at the hotel, beautiful desserts. The room had a huge king size bed, clean and spacious bathroom, great air conditioning (very important for KL) and plenty of windows with a great view of the Petronis towers and KL tower. Will definately return to this hotel and highly recommend to visitors who want somewhere clean, safe, friendly and close to transport.

“Good value for money and good location”

The only problem with the hotel was that the rooms used to be "smoking rooms" which you can still smell a bit.

“Awesome view of the Petronas Towers”

I was very impressed with the hotel. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The pool was nice and the pool bar was cheap for food and drinks. I had a view of the Petronas Towers which was nice especially at night. to get into the main shopping are you have to walk 15 minutes or catch a taxi. The monorail is opposite the road. I would defiantely come back. Very impressed

“Best pool in KL”

We used this hotel twice on a trip to Malaysia which was also affected by the recent "Ash related"travel delays. The hotel extended our stay at the existing rate, did not take advantage of the situation and were helpful with anticipated accomodation requests. The reception and door staff were always available to assist. Probably the best pool on KL. Malaysian Tourist office opposite providing you can cross the main road ( where motorcyclists have a distinct problem with red traffic lights..) . Easy walking distance to Petronas Towers and shopping mall. Would use again without hesitation

“Another Great KL Hotel”

The Renaissance Kuala Lumpur is another one of those excellent hotels that you can find in the heart of KL that will cost you far, far less than if you had stayed in the same class of hotel in Singapore, London or New York. First class hotel, excellent service and thoroughly recommended.

“Good experience”

This hotel is very near a monorail stop that made it easy to get around. It is also near Petronas Towers. Our room had a view of the towers that are beautiful, especially at night. The hotel has two towers. We were in a room that was not remodeled yet but was comfortable and large enough. Good internet connection too.

“Great Pool, Gym and Staff! Highly Recommended!!!”

Hotel was great. Security was very friendly. Checkin process was fast from a nice lady from Holland. Concierge was very organised, but our best experience was just chilling by the pool and the Pool and Bar Staff need to be congratulated on creating a relaxing environment. From memory, it was Rein, James and the boys.... Gym is huge!!! Largest I have seen in any resorts... Hotel exterior probably needs a good sandblasting, but the interior is very much 5 star quality! “Had a very nice time”

The Renaissance KL was a very good choice of hotel for my trip. It is located in a nice central area within walking distance of several places that I had selected to visit during my stay. The room was very comfortable just like any hotel in America. The grounds and pool were amazing.
