They did a nice job and the view was great, location perfect for us (next to the trail along the river) and we accidentally left a wallet in the room, they called right away and alerted us before we left town...super helpful! "The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t mind the sound of the trains at night but the blowing train whistle woke us a few times. There are ear plugs there if needed. Unfortunately the lake was over grown with vegetation so we didn’t kayak, but we brought our own bikes and rode the Cannon Falls trail in MN. The trail was beautiful. The owner...

"We loved our stay… cozy cabin with everything we needed. We are A Frame enthusiasts! We brought our own water for cooking and coffee just as a preference for purified water. We hope to come back during the fall when all the colored leaves will be at their peak. Loved the quaint village of Stockholm."

"Beautifully decorated and well maintained property which was just as pictured and described. In a quiet area near the Mississippi River, we felt safe, comfortable, and able to fully relax. The check-in treats with hand written note were a super nice gesture. The hosts were easy to make contact with and provided more amenities than most other properties we’ve stayed at elsewhere. Would stay again, if we needed to be in the area!"

"I was here 5 weeks while my husband had major surgery. If you’re wondering if it’s too far- it’s not. If you’re wondering if it’s too small- it’s not. Ignore the couple of bad reviews or comments. Some people just suck. My favorite rental I’ve ever stayed at. A little piece of Heaven after the stress of the hospital. Bill and bette were great and make sure to meet neighbor Sue, next door. I’ve made friends your life. Do yourself a favor and book."

"We were there when it was snowing and later in the weekend when it was sunshiny and warm. We lit a fire in the wood burning stove and walked outside and enjoyed the labyrinth. We heard the coyotes yip and watched the hawks fly over the bluff. We braked for turkeys and deer. We also made the short trek into Red Wing for serious shopping and spent time at Lena’s. In short we loved it all!"

"Was a little misleading. Couldn’t use the garage. It was full of clutter. Floors needed swept when we arrived and thought they needed repainted or updated. Overall it was nice, quiet and well kept. We enjoyed our stay."

"What a fun place! Plenty of room. We played foosball had a fire outside. We enjoyed the fireplace too. We hadn’t anticipated no TV though. You might want to add that to your description. The water is definitely smelly, so we truly appreciated the 40 bottles of water you provided. Definitely a great place for a girl’s weekend or family reunion!"

"You could not ask for more! Although we only had 8 people (it sleeps 16), you can tell the owners want to be sure that it not only sleeps 16 but has enough of everything for 16 - dishes, seating, towels, etc. They even had two coffee makers that were kept busy with the 8 of us! There are two casual living areas - both very comfortable. A great, large deck off the back and another on the front for viewing Lake Pepin. We found absolutely everything in the kitchen we needed! Every room was clean...
