This is just your typical highway hotel except for the fact that it is right next to USC and buses run every ten minutes to take you to the convention center and the Nokia theater. The bus stops in front of the hotel and in front of the convention center ten minutes away. The hotel is safe because USC has *ambassadors* patrolling the area 24/7. The conference hotel was $245 a night, the Vagabond was $109, a real life saver. Breakfast was pitiful but so what? The rooms were clean, safe and quiet. The parking was free.

The staff is outstanding, nice, and all around wonderful. I have stayed at the Vagabond at least 4 times now, (once when my brother was in a terrible motorcycle accident) and EVERY time it has been a pleasure. It is safe, the stafff is great and it will overall be what you make it... I would reccomend the VAGABOND with all my heart. I have read some reviews where people said it was loud, etc. I have never experienced that.
Tell them Tia sent you, lol.

"Can beat it for the price. Bar next to hotel rocks"
Stayed one night. Price was right. Room was clean, rugs a little, old T.V. that didn't get much channels, bathrooms clean, A.C. pumps, very good in my opinion for the price and location. Bar next store rocks, lot's of places to eat around the hotel area. A renting the room on Sat. night online and the price was good $69.00 plus tax. Would recommend.
