Reasonably priced close to downtown Louisville, KY

Room was adequate for sleeping. Needs updating in decor and bathroom. Tissue box falling off sink, floor needed good cleaning. Smelled a little musty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had trouble parking as lot was full. Had to park on back street behind hotel.

College Trip

The hotel smelled so bad it made my nose and eyes burn. The first room I was in was gross. I requested a room change from the red head at the front desk and she said no, there was nothing else available. I knew that wasn't true by looking around so I called Expedia they got it changed right away. I was there four days and the maid only came to my room once even after I called the front desk,

Small room. Walls thinner than paper. Other patrons were up all night walking the halls and making noise. Staff was great. If you have to stay then it's ok. Not much more than that

Not the fanciest hotel, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. Free WiFi, breakfast was just donuts and coffee.

Not worth the money.

This hotel was ~$100/night and for that I expected more. It was not clean and smelled of smoke in every inch of the property. The room was incredibly cramped as well. Breakfast was uninspiring (cereal, toast, coffee) and was served in a very small cramped space. While surrounding hotels were $20-30 more per night, it would be worth spending the extra money for a more pleasant stay.

Ok

Pros: The hotel was in a good location compared to where we needed to be that weekend.
Cons: Better trained employees, cleaner rooms.
Location: My granddaughter was in the Miss Kentucky Pageant and this hotel was located within walking distance to hotel where the pageant was being held.
It was ok, but both rooms had a musty smell in them. When we went to check out of our rooms we were told we had to wait 5-10 minutes because the lady working the front deck had left in a van & the gentleman didn't know how to check any of us out.

The bedspreads had stains but my major criticism was the room door lock system: in a word it was awful. I stay in hotels all over the country as part of my work. I've never seen sliding card locks like these and with absolutely no comprehensible instructions how to orient or slide the card that made any sense. I had to have the front desk clerk show me because I couldn't enter the room. If I ever stay there again I'll know how they work but you are a big company, can't you do better than that? Also, the front desk clerk's English was marginal. She could show me how to work the door lock but couldn't explain it so an English speaking person could understand and I'm not an idiot, I have a Ph.D. in neuroscience; I can understand 99.9% of people I speak to, but I had problems with her. She also spent all her time while helping me on her cell phone speaking her native language to someone in her family. Very unprofessional. Someone needs to speak to her about how she treats guests.
