Lovely and peaceful hotelPosted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Great location, nice private cottages.
Location: Located close to the main beach. Diving & snorkeling opportunities as well as restaurants & bars close by.
Staying at a deluxe cottage, the stay was great. Don't expect 5-star hotel comfort, instead you are welcome by a room decorated tastefully with a slightly more organic style. The cottage was in a good shape, obviously being maintained properly. As a stand-alone building, privacy is no issue. There is no TV, which may be a problem for some people. The resort is located at one end of the island and hence is really peaceful. The main beach is quick to reach though and there is a lot of restaurants in the area. Breakfast is optionally available at the beach bar and very good.

Beautiful hotelPosted May 30, 2014
Pros: Location, nice room. great setting
Cons: The on going renovations was loud but I was not in the room most of the day.
Location: Thresher shark diving and sitting on the beach
Private beach with beautiful blue water, close to dive shop that I was diving from and a Angelino's (best place to eat on the island). The room had a partial sea view. The fan and AC helped cope with mid day heat.

Nice private beachPosted Nov 2, 2013
Nice cottage. Price is affordable for lodging. Food and drinks a bit pricy.
Construction work behind the cottagePosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: -Near to beautiful beaches and lots of nice restaurants.
Cons: -Customers should not be put in cottages next to construction sites.
Location: Nearby: Beaches, restaurants, scuba diving, snorkeling, massages.
Malapascua Island is a beautiful island and I imagine that for most of Tepanee Beach Resort's customers they have a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I was placed in an aircon cottage directly in front of a construction site. The noise began around 8AM almost every morning and lasted for most of the day. The relaxing, peaceful experience I had hoped for did not come to fruition. The island is well-worth a visit; it has the most beautiful beaches I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Tepanee Beach Resort was the only disappointment.

Best place to stay in MalapascuaPosted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: Great price and really nice cottages!
Cons: Steps are a bit irregular. Water pressure could be a bit better
Location: AMAZING location. The place to stay!
Really enjoyed my stay there. Friendly staff, really nice views (not to mention the sunset!!). I do want to go back and stay there again. I do recommend!

Nice resort, but no sea viewPosted Feb 4, 2012
Resort is not on the main beach, but has it's own small private beach. Which is good as basically only guests are walking inside resort area, but no street vendors or other people. Upon arrival, finding the hotel is easy, it's just 10 mins walking from where boats arrive. Room is quite comfortable, nicely designed, but in the bathroom there is only soap, no shampoo or toothpaste, have to bring your own. Also no TV in the room, but it's totally not a problem for a beach resort. No possibility to book sea view rooms, but garden view is also pretty nice and relaxing. Hotel doesn't provide any dining, next to it there is Italian-owned restaurant, where food is good, but expensive, so it might be good idea to walk around the i9sland and find some cheaper food. Internet is a little slow, but I think it is due to remoteness of Malapascua. Staff is nice and friendly, you can clearly see that it's European-trained. Water on the beach is crystally clear, you can see small stones which are 1,5 m deep!
