But, there were a few issues that, if improved, would provide a better experience. First, I had to contact the lister to clarify the pet policy. "This is a lovely spot that was close to downtown touring, amazing hiking at Watson lake, and was a real gem. The home is a historical home and the vibe met that expectation. It was incredibly cute and clean, would definitely return. There’s even a small greasy spoon right across the street that we enjoyed walking to."

"We initially had some small difficulties getting the code and instructions, but I think it was the vrbo website and not tge host. It all worked out. The evap cooling system did not cool the back bedroom very well. There were no coffee filters, which made brewing coffee a challenge. Would have been nice to have a dinette set on the porch for eating outside to enjoy the incredible views. Overall, it was a great stay at a great location within easy walk to all of the tasting rooms and restaurants....

"Well positioned halfway between Phoenix and Sedona. Black Canyon City is a very small town and the location is convenient, just a few minutes from the Interstate. Stayed 7 nights in unit. This unit had the basic necessities for overnight needs. If you're looking for a clean, simplistic, minimalist stay, off the beaten path for a good price, this is your place. We would stay here again."

"This property was very cozy and welcoming. The bedroom, walk-in closet, kitchen, dining room, and living were all very spacious for my wife and I. The bathroom was a little small, but the jacuzzi tub definitely made it up for it. The washer and dryer, along with the fully furnished kitchen were very accommodating. "The condo was well furnished, everything worked and it was very comfortable. It is next to Acker Park with trails. Unfortunately it was wet during my stay so the trails were muddy. The covered garage was a big plus! The downside was a howling dog nearby when it's owner was away."
