Nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: location, great rates
We got lucky and arrived after spring break, hotel and surrounding area was very peaceful. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Maid service was great. Free DVD rental was awesome, they offered a lot of current movies. Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our stay and will return to this hotel the next time we come to Myrtle.

We stayed three nights and had to keep asking for clean bath cloths and towels. Other than that it was an ok hotel

while the rooms where clean, there was no coffee for the coffee maker, and if you did not pack a hair dryer the hotel charged a ten dollar fee for use of one . all the little things that normally came with other hotels that we had been in this was different. over all the staff was friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I would use this hotel again.

Don't stay here

Wifi didn't work..old rooms..no parking..the carpets were soggy and filthy asked for dish washing soap room service brung me a cup of soap she made herself..one elevator that half works. I wouldnt even send my worst enemy to this place..I saw everything but a roach which they prolly were there as well.

Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of any amenities as we were there for cheer competition and not much time to explore on our own and the weather was only 43 degrees but the staff was very helpful and friendly and accommodating Housekeeping was thorough and parking was great

At the Beach

Check in was fine, friendly and helpful and the location was great. That is all I can say good about the stay. The room was on the first floor and was about as noisy as you can get. The hallway echoed and the elevator was right outside. The room needed updating badly, the bathroom had no bathtub and the shower was not enclosed, only a curtain. The location is the only reason to stay here that I could see.

Waste of time and money

The check in process was very slow. We had been traveling for over 12 hours and arrived around 3 am. Although the gentlemen were nice it took forever to check in as one of them were in training. Finally we were able to get to our room. We had to park a block away and walk in the rain to our room. Once we got in the building I could tell it was not going to be good. The halls and elevator were dingy amd smelly. The room although was outright dirty it smelled awful. The furniture was dated and in bad condition. The bathroom was clean enough but extremely small. I was so disgusted I spent a half hour on the phone trying to fimd somewhere else to stay. We finally did amd I went down to the front desk to check out. They asked me why and offered a different room but I didnt feel any other would be better. I didnt get a chance to see the rest of the resort. I wqs disappointed because my kids were looking forward to being on the beach and swimming in the pool. I am going to expedia to ask for a refund since I did not stay. Wish me luck.
