Breakfast was as expected for this type of hotel, cleanliness was HORRIBLE! I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in less than desirable places that were cleaner. Blood stains on the sheets, old coffee filter with coffee still inside the coffee maker in the room, sand in the floor and the room had an odor. Check in was easy enough parking was as expected for somewhere that has a parking garage! I would only stay here again if it was my only choice and I would NOT recommend to anyone!

Only good thing about this place - ocean front . The hotel was extremely dirty , in four days and three nights there we had housekeeping came in once just to leave towels on the bathroom sink. Nothing else was done. First morning there I wanted to make myself a cup of coffee and the coffee maker was full of old coffee with a layer of mold on the top. The floors were disgusting too. And to top it off - less than 10 minutes after we checked out I realized that I left my shift in the closet, I came back upstairs to grab it and the shirt wasn’t where I left it . The cleaning lady said that she didn’t see a shift , so I guess in 10 minutes it just disappeared. Terrible experience overall. Great view and beautiful beach , but I would definitely not come back here again .

This was a great spot for my family during the NYBA basketball tournament. It was 2 minutes from the complex and on the beach. My kids loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast needs work, but other than that we had an amazing time!

Conveniently located on the beach and near major attractions (that's the plus). Parking for large SUV's was limited outside as they won't fit in the garage. Rooms, hallways, and elevators were very dated and smelled musty. We expected to have our towels and trash handled daily, but our towels were never changed Trash was removed. Breakfast was mediocre (runny (undercooked?) eggs, biscuits were barely warm, etc. Small dining area so you have to get up early to get seating. BEWARE of "Concierge" next to check-in offering discounted tickets to entertainment as they are a Wyndham time share sales person.

The good: The front desk was very nice and friendly, which was great for first impressions. The pool and the hot tub was very nice. Walking right out to the beach is great. The washer and dryer came in handy after coming out of the pool. The Bad: Did not have enough towels or sheets for everyone in my party. I had to ask for more towels and sheets. Room was not cleaned everyday, house keeping only asked if we need more towels if seen. Trash was taken out unless we placed it outside. The trash cans had mold in it. There was dust bunnies all over by the toilet, looks like it was never cleaned. The A/C at first was not good at all, I did let the front desk know. Someone came and looked while we were out, did not seem to help at all. The room thermostat was set to 62 degrees and the room at 70 and by time we came back, the room was at 74 degrees. After looking around, the vent was closed in the living room. (Simple fix by me).

The room was terrible. No refrigerator. No cups for water. The furniture needed to be changed. The bathroom was below a college dorm. There was mold and cracked Sheetrock. I should get a refund. For your site to rate this a 4 out of 5 is a travesty

This so called “boutique resort” was literally the quality of a dirty 50 year old Motel 6. Halls dirty, carpet dirty, walls dirty, lounge was dirty, cramped and the guests in the area were loud, uncouth and spewing expletives. The pictures used to promote this establishment were ALL MISLEADING & FALSE! I booked two nights and only stayed 1 because I was uncomfortable and grossed out. The free “breakfast” was literally non existent. I had to wait in line 15 minutes just to check out. A manager was summoned b/c I was leaving a day early who automatically assumed I wanted some sort of refund (which I did not), so she was instantly overbearing and short. One of the worst experiences ever.

First the location of this property to the beach=FANTASTIC! The front desk staff and other housekeeping staff were really helpful and nice. The breakfast buffet food was just ok. The cook overseeing the breakfast buffet seemed as if he wanted to be somewhere other than there! The breakfast staff can do a much better job of cleaning and making sure food is stocked. You couldn’t find anyone to help with breakfast concerns unless you entered the kitchen itself. The room view of the ocean was top notch. Didn’t like having to deal with cigarette smoke or the smell of marijuana on the balcony. Smoke free should be smoke free, including the balcony area. Outside of that, sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean was one of the highlights of our trip. For the $$$ paid I feel the aesthetic of the facility and effort of staff fell short of my expectation.

The location is great at The Strand. Stayed 2 nights with my daughters and felt safe throughout the resort. My youngest uses a wheelchair at times and she was able to maneuver around the main areas just fine. No accessibility to the beach but we’re used to that so she was carried to our spot on the beach. Handicap parking is in name only, the spots are tight! Some other minor hiccups but no deal breakers. Would definitely stay again knowing ahead of time the limitations.
