Newark is within easy reach of many of Seneca Lake’s attractions. The Museum of Historic Palmyra and the Bristol Mountain Ski Resort are two of the popular sights here, adored by locals and visitors alike. Also, well worth the effort are the Waterloo Premium Outlets and the Seneca Lake State Park.
Do try to see some of the nearby museums and galleries, which help make the area the special place it is. There are many excellent destinations visitors can pay a visit to for a few hours including the National Women's Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, the Women's Rights National Historical Park and the Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry. Go and see one or two of the thrilling live performances at the Smith Center for the Arts in Geneva.

For those travelling child-free, pay a visit to the White Springs Winery in Geneva, the Casa Larga Vineyards in Fairport and Zugibe Vineyards.
This area is the home turf of the Rochester Razorsharks basketball team in winter and Rochester Americans ice hockey team. Both teams play regular matches at Blue Cross Arena, Rochester. If sports are not your thing and you’d rather see a touring band or performer in action, check out the stadium’s program for dates and prices.
To really get to know Newark, consider staying close by in one of the area’s charming bed and breakfast or hotel options.
