"The location was great, size was perfect, everything I could expect and more. The view was amazing. Bed slept well for my back issues. Had plenty of hot water when needed. Parking was at the front door so didn’t have to haul luggage very far. Neighbor was very friendly and informative about the area. Realtor answered all questions prior to arrival. I would definitely stay here again and have suggested this to others who may want to vacation in the Crossnore area."

"Just back from a spring getaway to beautiful Roan Mountain. This was our second stay at Kim and Art's lovely mountain cottage. Had a great time hiking with our dogs, who loved being off leash at the property. The cottage is clean, cozy and artfully decorated. Our hosts were warm and welcoming. "We had a nice stay. The house is beautiful in a beautiful location. The view and deck is gorgeous. We were a bit disappointed that there was a coffee maker with no pot so we couldn’t make coffee. I would have loved to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning. The ice maker didn’t work so we had no ice. Dishwasher was broken so we hand washed the dishes which was fine but if the dishwasher is broken it would be nice if there was more than one dish towel and some type of dish rack. The...

"Not easy to find, get to. Beautiful place and view; hot tub was wonderful, beds very comfortable, the weather was lovely. The kitchen was clean, well equipped, and cozy. We enjoyed our time together in the cottage. The property could benefit from handrail on lower steps from driveway to upper deck and front door, garlic powder in spice rack, fire extinguisher in a more prominent location in case of fire emergencies."

"My wife, our adult son, and our cocker spaniel stayed here over a weekend. We had an event in Blowing Rock on Saturday and it was super convenient to get in town or to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The Food Lion was minutes away, but we felt like we were in the mountains. It was a bit cold, but we used the outdoor grill and would have enjoyed sitting on the porch during warmer weather. Plenty of seating, a great kitchen table for board games...

"Owner was great with communication. Home Decorated nicely. The kitchen was well stocked With dishes & towels. Bedrooms were good size. Bathrooms with linens and good size. Downstairs bed & bath really nice. Small no door trundle bedroom could use a door. (It’s right off kitchen) Comfy upstairs living room. Laundry room upstairs a plus. Convenient to downtown. "was told that there is no heat. we definitely tested that theory - weather outside in 20's, but totally warm inside. place was very close to everything, and so much cleaner that the last one we rented in Linville. p.s. oven could use a 'little touchup'"
