“50's flashback”

This is a mid-century modern hotel that has been restored, and updated in some details (the bathrooms, for instance), to a very high standard. Exceptionally well-run hotel, great attention to detail. All employees are very nice, which in my opinion is a sign of management that knows how to hire good people and make sure they are doing their jobs well. My only complaint is that my room was not well soundproofed, and so was very noisy when people were going from the bar to their rooms at one and two in the morning on a Friday night. I doubt there is anything the hotel can do about this, as it probably is a side-effect of its having been built when insulation was not a priority. Anyway, the noise is why I marked the room comfort with a 4 rather than a 5.

“A must for scottsdale.”

efficient and friendly staff. Moved to this hotel, was booked at the Mondrian. Little did I know that the two front people where rude and incapable of helping a customer that was staying for 12 nights. Tensions escalated between the front people and myself. Little did they know that in a split of a second I changed my booking to the valley ho. If you want to rough it and have an insulting experience go the the Mondrian scottsdale, you never know what is awaiting you???? Overall the Valley will do if for me next time. A must in scottsdale

“We love Hotel Valley Ho!”

The online photos and reviews of this hotel is what made my husband and I choose Scottsdale for our Anniversary. We were not disspointed when we arrived and the entire stay was enjoyable. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We expected it to be nice but wow. The hotel was very afforadble which is why we were so surprised by the what we saw when we arrived. The environment was so comforting and everything is at your fingetips. You could literally stay in your room and have everything brought to you. There is a refridgerator with a mini-bar , a snack drawer, it was great. The food in the ZuZu Cafe was very delicious as well. We ate there a lot during our 6 day stay. The location is great as well. It is located in the Arts district of Scottsdale. There are many resturants, theaters and museums within miles of the hotel. Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again.

“Would come back”

we enjoyed the hospitality and the very retro feel of the hotel. Not a humungous over the top resort but one with a more intimate feel . Centrally located to the day and night life of the Scottsdale area.

“Cute Boutique Hotel”

I went by myself to Valley Ho to get away and decompress. I'm in my late 30s and am not into the whole party scene. I spent days in the fitness center, at the pool, and/or in the spa. All were great. The servers at the pool were all very friendly and accomodating. The only downfall of the pool is the fence around it, but it's something you can get past. The spa was fine - not as relaxing/soothing of a setting as I'm used to and definitely more expensive than in the Midwest, but the treatments were very nice. The fitness center was better than many hotels, so I can't complain. Personally, I enjoyed the menu at the pool more than the restaurants. I also have to say everyone on the staff was very nice, friendly, and accomodating.

“Very nice but pricey”

The rooms are nice and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations. I have sampled a number of different hotels in the area from 4+ stars to less than three and this was one the most pleasant ones. It is pricey though for its true level. There is no refrigerator which is a necessity in the area - you need a place to keep chilled water bottles.

“Im definately going back”

Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Food was excellent at Cafe Zuzu. It has everything you want for a business trip and a romantic get away. It is quiet and out of the way and yet not far from anything.
