The property was okay, however I did not like the undisclosed charges for parking ($30) and potentially other items since I was never emailed a final bill after checkout. But the fact that they charged parking when no other hotels in the area did was not appealing. This is Scottsdale, not Los Vegas.

Staff upon check, a very nice man, was very helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good but it was served by staff, so no seconds. For such a small hotel, the hotel should not charge for parking, and a better grass area for the dogs since it was 118 degrees outside. We would definitely return. Very sufficient and nice accommodations for a great price.

I enjoyed my stay, the breakfast for it to be free is awesome. Accross the street from Old Town i bar hopped:), walking distance to several restaurant, 1 mile from Fashion Square Mall! Staff is amazing! Rooms are kept up. I enjoyed it. I would come back to visit.

It was overall a very good experience, although we only stayed one night. The property was clean and neat throughout. The man who checked us in was very cordial and helpful. The room was clean, roomy and quiet. There was only one hiccup; I registered 3 people to stay in our room with two queen beds. When we came to the breakfast area on April 25th, we checked in at the breakfast ordering station, where the lady on duty told me that our room showed only 2 people on the reservation, so we would be charged for one breakfast since there were 3 of us. I said that was incorrect, and the lady sent me to the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk also told me that only 2 people were registered for the room. He further noted that since I booked the reservation through Expedia, that it only transferred to their res. system as 2 people. so I would indeed need to pay for one of the breakfasts. The reservation that I booked clearly noted 3 people, and we fully expected a made-to-order breakfast for three of us on the 25th. It had nothing to do with the money, but the reservation that I booked clearly was for three people and reservation noted that breakfast was included. It was very irritating, embarrassing (like I was trying to get something for free, and was being a problem guest as I spoke up about their error) and there was no cordiality from either the “breakfast lady” who was “only doing my job” speech, nor the front desk (MOD) on the morning of Apr. 25 @ 9:00am.

Disappointed in the overall aspects of this property. From arrival to departure, the front desk was never there and had to always wait 5-10 mins for someone or go walk around and hunt domeone down. Our room wasn't the cleanest (floors and toilet), our toilet clogged twice day 1 we were there and we flooded the bathroom floors. We had to wait until morning to call and get someone to unclog/ get new towels. Called down to the lobby to get transferred to corporate which was no help, then back to the hotel finally. The surrpunding bar area was loud and rattled the windows which has been noted before, however the ac sound blocks out the noise at times. The sound is quiet after 2pm. Will not stay again.

The staff at the front desk were very kind. The rooms themselves were not great. I noticed some stains on the wall and a small hole in a wall. The bottom sheet was not fitted and was not large enough to be properly tucked to prevent it from coming untucked in the night. Additionally, the thermostat was basically impossible to use as the buttons did not work properly for adjusting the temperature
