"The sheets on the bed were covered in dog and pubic hair. The manager wanted me to buy new sheets at Dollar General. Cleaning lady washed them and put them in the dryer at 9:00 pm. Had to make the bed myself. The bed consisted of a box spring and mattress upon the floor still covered in plastic (a blessing in disguise, no bugs). The area is like Appalachia in CA. Everything out of business no where to eat other than a Mom and Pop grocery and a Gas station Subway. "

"My husband and I booked this trip to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. My daughter has also been asking to go camping for at least a year and we weren’t ready to buy all the equipment. This was the perfect way to get the camping experience without the commitment! The view of the river and the mountains was breath taking. The restrooms had real toilets and were immaculate. "This is a beautiful guest house tucked away along the South Fork of the Kaweah River. It's lovely hearing the river, which is just a short walk away. We had everything we needed for our few days visiting Sequoia National Park, with a comfortable bed, well-outfitted kitchen, and cushioned patio furniture to relax outside and listen to the river. The host was exceptionally responsive. Definitely recommend for a secluded, comfortable getaway!"
