Nice hotel with friendly staff

Cons: the cleanliness of the pool area
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, the kids loved the pool. The room was clean, neat and nice. Being close to the parking lot and the highway we heard nothing outside, the room was quiet and we couldn't hear the noise at all. The only thing I could think of that could use improvement would be the cleanliness of the area by the pool. There was food under and around some of the tables and my kids found a clump of hair in the pool. Other than that the stay was very enjoyable.

Local "winter" escape

Cons: Lets start with cleaning the swimming pool
Location: near freeway, there is an outlet mall near by
I was mandated to stay in this hotel due to a family wedding. The waterpark includes like two or three small pools in a small slide. You will have a lot of small kids making noise. It gets quiet after pool hours. The swimming pool smell lingers in the rooms. Forget about the breakfast. Likely there is a coffee shop near by (next to gas station).

Thank you for your time to provide feedback about your visit to our hotel. With our expanded pool area, we do draw a large amount of families and groups. Our pool chemical levels are closely monitored, but I will have staff keep a close eye on them during the times of heavy usage.

Bad beds

Pros: It had a shuttle to Mayo Clinic.
Cons: New beds
The mattresses were way too soft. I must have been awake every hour or two the whole night for two nights. :(

Pros: Comfortable beds, quiet and close to shopping center and eateries.
Location: The Apache Mall was the main reason I stayed there. Very close by.
Everyone was so helpful and very happy with the accomodations. I can't fault on one thing. I certainly will be back.

Terrible experience--no clue what is going on

Cons: Should be demolished and start over with new management
I stayed there because me parents had stayed before and it was cheap. Cheap is the word. Front desk people are friendly, just clueless. There is no management or customer service happening. Window wouldn't shut with it -15F outside. Took three hours for maintenance to show up--actually just the shuttle driver--couldn't fix it. Moved me into a room that was still occupied. Ice machine broken, no sign, no clue by front desk. Third floor ice machine wasn't there--front desk didn't even know--don't think they have ever seen the hotel itself.

Pros: Shuttle to Mayo. Hotel staff very nice.
Cons: The pool area was freezing. It also didn't have a full pool of water. The bathroom in our room was freezing while the room was too warm.
Location: Good location if you are looking to shop.

Pool was the main attraction

The maid service was excellent. The person in charge of the breakfast room could not keep up with supplying coffee cups any of the three mornings (and didn't even try), but did manage to provide hot food. Our grandchildren loved the pool.

The room was very nicely sized. Furniture is terrible shape. Many stains found on chairs and couches. Tables broken. Simple things that should be taken care of. Leads one to believe that management has little care about property.

Pros: The bed was comfortable. My child enjoyed the water slide in the pool area.
Cons: The look of the rooms and fix the things that are broken in each of the rooms before a guest stays in the room.
Location: Close to the mall and several restaurants. It was also close to the Hospice Residence home.
This wasn't the greatest looking hotel room. Furniture was coming apart. Ceiling in bathroom was peeling. Switches on the lamps were pushed in and hard to turn on. There were very few outlets. The swimming pool was cold.
