Sonia at the restaurant was lovely, we enjoyed her sense of humour and she really looked out for us, as we tend to hang out by the pool and she arranges our drinks and food beautifully. The hotel is a bit far far from the city but everyone were friendly and helpful. "

"We’ve just returned from our second holiday at the Al Falaj hotel and we’re about to book a third. Why? Let’s start with the simple things: delicious food (and so much of it), great rooms, comfortable beds, amazing gym, gorgeous swimming pool, always clean and tidy, and well located for exploring Muscat and the surroundings. At this hotel, there is no doubt about where you are. That comes from culture. It comes from an attention to detail that’s been a part of the place for decades. How do I know this? Because the owner walks around; because he joined us for supper; because he cares. And his care and warmth is reflected in every minute with every member of staff. …and that’s why we’re going back. "My family and I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Muscat and it was a great experience! It was our first family trip after having our baby and the staff was AMAZING! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The hotel is very charming and welcoming. You can tell that it is a bit older but not in a negative way. All facilities were clean and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family! "
