"Excellent place to stay in Concan. Accommodations were as advertised, pool was great and we had friendly neighbors. It’s a separate house not connected to the other two units next door. Kitchen appliances and furniture were a little dated but functional. One of the two toilets clogged on our last day and we reported it to the owner who fixed it within hours (thanks!). Overall I would recommend staying here. Garner State Park which is just down the road was excellent!"

"Ash Creek Hideaway is a country cabin with classic southern front porch appeal and amazing wildlife but just minutes from Leaky with town convenience. The house is cute with three bedrooms, a cozy living area, a family sized table, and a well stocked kitchen. Situated just off 336, it a great entry point for any of the Sister rides. Or just sit on the porch or around the fire pit and enjoy the hummingbirds, deer, turkey, bird and squirrels. Highly recommend!"

"We had 4 couples and 4 kids, and booked almost 2 years in advance for the eclipse. The Rusty Rio is quaint and what it appears to be....a fun and "campy" spot. The only gripe we had was that when we booked, we filtered rentals that had hot tubs, and hot tub was listed as an amenity. It didn't work, and likely hasn't for many years.
