Saint-Gervais-les-Bains Chalets

"We were all beginners at skiing and so wanted to learn but also enjoy relaxing together as a family. We had a fantastic time. The Ecole Ski Francais (ESF) provided an instructor, all the equipment we could hire at the Bettex gondola station, and we were able to enjoy six days of learning how to ski. Chalet Marie Blanche is about fifteen minutes walk away from the bottom of the gondola, an easy walk down there in the morning, but one that produced groans trying to climb up the hill after a day's...

"The house is at the end of a curving street up at 1400 m. The surroundings are absolutely amazing; calm, peaceful and plain nature. Monique and Michel, the landlords, are top; extremely helpful, loads of advice, knowledgeable about the region and most kind. Hiking trails start from the house. For skiing, one has to take the car down to St Gervais, which takes about 15 min. We were a group of 7 (5 adults, 2 children). The house can definitely accommodate up to 10 people. "We throughly loved our stay in the chalet. It was cleaned, fully equipt and the hot tub was such a treat after a day's skiing. It was quite cosy with two families, especially the children's bedroom, but to be honest the children really iy used the bedroom to sleep in. The location was great near enough to the slopes and the supermarket at the bottom of the mountain, the views from the bedrooms and hot tub are spectacular. We are desperate to go back and will be booking again very soon."

"We had a fantastic stay at the chalet who turned out to be exactly as described snd where we felt immediately at home. Everything is well furnished and equipped, stylishly decorated with just the right amount of touches. The chalet is spacious and everyone was happy to have his/her own room. We enjoyed the outside space equally especially the jacuzzi. I would definitely recommend other travelers to consider this beautiful chalet."

"Traditional accommodation located within a nice quiet area of St.Gervais. Nice, clean, warm & comfy. Nothing to complain about at all.15 minute walk to the centre of town so ideally you want a car. Francois was very easy to deal with & he was very welcoming when we arrived."

We had absolutely sufficient space for all of us. It is a short drive to the skiing slopes with a fantastic skiing area. We would come back to that chalet again."
