We were only here 1night unfortunately but found this hotel very comfortable in a perfect location directly opposite the beautiful Moonstone beach. The room was well equipped with a view of the sea from our side window, very nice bathroom and the King bed gave us a good nights sleep. The staff were very helpful with advice re local restaurants for an evening meal. We decided to eat local because we didn't want to take the car so the receptionist offered us a lantern to light our walk. In the morning breakfast was very good, more choice than we had been experiencing elsewhere on our travels. The boardwalk which runs the full length of the beach makes a stroll very enjoyable and gives a great view of all the birdlife including Pelicans diving for fish from quiet a height. We also saw a sea otter preening while floating on his back.Amazing.

This place is our favorite when we stay in Cambria. The staff are very polite to the point you feel like your staying at a friends house. Room was very roomy and clean. The only thing we found out is that the breakfast wasn't included the final price when booking the room, which would of been 25.00. So make sure if you book through expedia you read the fine print. Or you can book directly through the Burton Inn's site and the price for the morning breakfast will be included. Other than that beautiful rooms and staff is excellent. Shops and restaurants are all walking close.

The rooms and facility are quiet, the rustic decor exudes coziness and intimacy. The buffet breakfast was a welcome surprise from the cheap thrown together continental breakfasts at other hotels. The staff is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. They seem well trained to notice patrons that are looking for help.

"Quaint, friendly, affordable, who could want more?"
Family Owned and operated, impeccably clean, I highly recommend this little gem motel. Located at the first turn into Cambria, you can leisurely stroll anywhere and everywhere downtown. There's also an off leash dog park next door and the motel is pet friendly (a mere $15 charge).
