"The staff were friendly, pleasant, and caring. I complained upon checking in about the room's cleanliness, and within 5 minutes they were inspecting the room and cleaning. The issue as I'm told many times by locals is the "some-people" who come in and stay in Santa Maria with their "excessive" party like mentality. "Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, our microwave worked (and was clean) and the frig. kept things cold. The ice machines work and you can do laundry if needed. It's a budget hotel so the towels are on the thin side and there's no in-room shampoo but I travel with my own so no issue. If you have noisy neighbors, you're going to hear them, but you can turn the window unit on and create background noise to muffle them."
