Very nice

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Found king bed was super comfortable.
Cons: More internet bandwidth to accommodate peak usage,
King bed was very comfortable. Shower was excellent. Room was spacious. Excellent breakfast included waffles, eggs, hash browns, bacon, and sausage. TV was new. Had luggage carts so only 1 trip in and out was needed. Only negative was a very bad internet connection during peak evening hours. Morning internet was fine. And one more ding would be that the A/C did not have an auto setting. Fan had to be on 100% of time or unit had to be off. It was relatively quiet on low but would prefer the fan only be on when cooling was needed.

It was a pleasure

Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was great. The coffee was the best at all hotels we have been.
Cons: The sign in google maps isn't right. There are the old name of the hotel. This should be change
Location: Near by the N.P. with a great look around. Also near by the Rim Rock Inn - Restaurant with the best steak
We feel very welcome. The person are very friendly.

Ok hotel close to Capital Reef.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Cons: Breakfast was pretty minimal.
Location: Location is great for people visiting Capital Reef, Boulder mountain area. Torrey is a cute town.
Room smelled musty. Bed was kind of hard, but not horrid. Room did have a frig and microwave.

Adequate, cheapest place in town

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Asked for ground floor room but request denied. There were maybe 8 cars in lot. Smoke detector missing. Beds comfortable and room clean. It's out of town, had to call for directions as we arrived at night. It is after mile marker 71. Slow internet.

Comfortable room with a beautiful view

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: It was away from traffic and seemed really new. It was quiet and had great views.
Location: It was very close to the Capitol Reef. I would imagine younger people would really enjoy hiking nearby.
We stayed only one night and it was extremely restful. There was a Mexican restaurant next door which was very good. The room looked out at the Capitol Reef. We just had to step out the door to take pictures. We will look for other Affordable Inns on future trips.

Motel with glorious views”

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Location of this motel is very good as it's only a couple of miles from Capitol Reef. Staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi worked great.
We had trouble finding the motel as it was set back from the road hidden by the Mexican Restaurant. It was a lovely motel a few miles out of Torrey. We were given a spacious room with two Queen Sized beds, desk, table, coffee making facilities...

Amazingly Affordable!

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Location: Hiking, biking, backpacking, fishing, camping, access to Glen Canyon National Recreation Site (Lake Powell).
All that we wanted and needed. Fridge, microwave, space, beautiful view, good staff ( fixed internet connection issue straightaway), Clean. All Good. Proximity to Capitol Reef National Park in Utah, as well as scenic highway 12 (look it up, it's amazing), and access to all Utah National Parks within a 3-4 hour driving time makes it the perfect place to spend an entire week, using it as a base for day trips outward to Bryce Canyon NP, Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, as well as Capitol Reef itself which could use all your week and leave you wanting more. I love this place.
