We had a slight problem with the heating on the Saturday evening and Fiona and her husband came round right away and fixed it in a few minutes. The flat is very central to all the bars and restaurants and 5 mins walk to the beach."

En-suite shower thermostat was temperamental. Visited Culzean, Turnberry hotel for spa and afternoon tea. Local pub/restaurants such as Souter’s, Wildings, Balkenna, Anchorage in Dunure, Saffy’s and Wellingtons in Ayr. Coop in Maybole and Asda in Girvan useful for provisions. "We stayed here for the weekend to attend the Viking Festival. Location was perfect. Neighbours very friendly and welcoming. The flat itself was perhaps a little smaller than I expected and very sparse as far as bed and pillow covers and towels. There were 4 adults staying but only towels supplied for two. The duvet and pillows were missing covers for the bed settee. Other than that we loved our time in Largs."

"Apartment was comfortable. The alet and stairs up to it were awful and could have been improved with a clean or a paint. Beds were comfortable. Just needed some general upkeep done on it, skirtings cleaned and painted, hole in bathroom wall filled. Everything you needed for a weekend away but not done to my standard."
