Cold night

Heater would stop heating intermediately. It heated fine for half an hour, then it would turn into cold blowing air. Made for an uncomfortable night.

Not what it appears to be

My husband and I have driven past this Days Inn in Trumann, Ark. many times on our way to Jonesboro. When we couldn't get a room in Jonesboro, we decided to stay at this hotel since it looked nice from the road. The air conditioner was not working properly when we checked in, but they came in and replaced it with a new unit. The carpeting and bedspread looked horrible, and there was a 1/2" gap between the door and frame. The room had a lot of light coming through the windows at night. I don't recommend this place.

Disappointed

We stayed at this motel for two nights a week apart in January (with reservations) -- going to and coming back from vacation. The lobby area was very nice with a computer station and ice machine, but the rooms were in an adjacent building so you had to walk outside to the lobby to get ice. The continental breakfast was standard fare. The first room was ice cold when we checked in--heat had been turned off. There were holes in the bathroom wall, and when we turned the heater on, it was very loud and woke us up every time it came on during the night. After a full day of driving, we were looking forward to using the fitness center. Two of the 3 machines were broken. No TV, and again, no heat. The second room was better, but the clock didn't work. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. Expected better condition since it was fairly new. I would only recommend if you can't make it to another motel - next closest ones would be about 30 miles away. If we hadn't prepaid, we would not have stayed the second night.
