"There is plenty of room inside and we loved sitting on the swinging bench under the live oaks. There were lots of birds at the property and we were close to some nice natural areas. The kitchen was adequate although a drying rack for the dishes and repair of the faucet would be good additions. The mattress on the bed we used was average. All in all it is a very nice place to stay."

The only gripe we had was that when we booked, we filtered rentals that had hot tubs, and hot tub was listed as an amenity. It didn't work, and likely hasn't for many years. The grounds with its many bird feeders and wildflower gardens provided a rich experience. We saw about 40 species of birds on the cabin grounds and a total of 81 species including the surrounding areas! Driving on farm roads carpeted in wildflowers was a delightful plus. Highly recommended for anyone - nature lovers or birders especially! A real paradise!!"

"This property has a great location. Super close to everything you need on River Rd. It is stocked with the basic necessities. Plenty of space for everyone. Some of the other reviews mentioned the a/c not keeping up. There are notes near each thermostat telling you exactly how low you can go with the temp. I’m 51. 72 is warm for me but the other guests were ok. We were also on the river during hottest parts of the day. It cooled down nicely at night. 😊"
