This is a lovely inn in a beautiful setting near Avignon. The owner and her son, the chef run a friendly, impeccably appointed inn very close to Avignon and Chateau Neuf des Papes wineries. This is a nice hotel run by gracious people with a very convenient location adjacent to the Avignon Central (but not the Avignon TGV!) train station.
There are, however, two issues about which a prospective traveler should be aware.
First, my room (and I think all of the rooms, judging from a floor map I looked at) was very small. Submarine small. I was impressed they were able to get as much stuff into a room that size.
Second, the hotel is located RIGHT NEXT TO the railroad tracks. It reminded me a bit of where Elwood Blues lived in the movie "The Blues Brothers." There were trains going by within 20 feet of my room. That said, there weren't many trains at night and I didn't find it to be that intrusive. But this hotel "feature" may be a bit startling if one is not prepared for it.
