Hotel with good location for car travellers

Easy access by car just outside the city wall and all the sights within walking distance. Public garage in the hotel basement. We had a big room on the ground floor with a small terrace, facing the hotel garden. Comfortable bed. OK breakfast. They didn’t allow dogs in the breakfast room but you could eat outdoors in the garden or in the lobby. I would recommend to ask for a room facing the garden or backside since the rooms facing the big road in front of the hotel might be quite noisy.

The property is very dated and in desperate need of a renovation. Our room had very old carpet, chipped wall paint and moulding that was chipped and missing in places. The staff, however, were very pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did their jobs well.

What a fabulous hotel. They upgraded us to a two room suite with a tub and a shower. TV in bedroom, TV in living room. Huge towels. It is located steps away from the train station (Not the TGV) so after our journey from Toulouse, very quick walk to total comfort. We have a pool so don't use that and soaking in the tub and showering in the lovely bathroom was delightful.

Great location

Large and spacious rooms with air con, looking a bit tired but otherwise comfortable. Shower control manual so be careful. Only real grouse was the very poor WiFi. Had to move rooms because the first room wouldn’t connect at all, the replacement was better but still very inconsistent with slow speeds. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and great location for the town and the railway station.

Good central location close to old town centre and railway station. Room was very good with extra living room. Bathroom supplies, towel and face washer had to ask for but service immediate. Some woodwork needed maintenance but just cosmetic and did not affect the accommodation functionality. Very good.

Very good location next door to Avignon Centre train station and within walking distance of all sites and restaurants, bars and shops. The interior of the property was a little tired, but the breakfast was pretty good. Staff were very helpful.
