"Everything was immaculately clean. The area is beautiful. Reservation and check-in went very smoothly. I highly recommend. My only concern is that the distance from the tent to the parking and the bathroom facilities was not communicated clearly. I am moderately fit and, for me, it was a 7-minute walk (including a short but steep hill) from the closest parking to the tent. And the bathroom was 3-4 minutes beyond that. There is no water source at the tent. Just FYI. "

"The Lumen Nature Retreat was a fantastic choice for a first time camper, like myself. The campsite was a perfect retreat at the end of a day of hiking, and provided the comforts of a beautifully maintained bathroom/shower that was a quick walk from my site. The safari tent was a great choice too, with plenty of space to get settled with a nice comfy bed to rest at the end of a long day. "The cabin is beautiful and immaculate. We stayed in the cabin most of the time; is quiet and cozy. We wish the bed was bigger and comfy but, other than that it was a good experience. We stayed there from April 15 to 18; the weather was perfect and we saw a big bear in the woods which made our stay even more exciting y (pictures and video were taken). The location is perfect; grocery stores are within 15 minutes from the cabin (Walmart, Shaws) We will definitely will go back!!! Can’t wait to...

"The cabin was perfect for our family - 6 adults and 3 kids! We enjoyed nightly fires in the gorgeous fireplace and card games. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The yard is a great space and we loved walking to the beach and playground."
