"Very good hotel located near Brignole train station, Vola bus service and city bus transportation. Safe location, front door always locked with key access. You do have to be buzzed in to get through the second set of doors and that’s only available until midnight. Not sure what happens if you stay out later than that, so make sure you are prepared. "It was a superb all-around experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a great welcome, and our very heavy luggage, which we lugged from the train station, was quickly taken away from us and stored until our room was ready. As a bonus, once our room was ready, it was taken up and neatly stored in our room ahead of our check-in. Our check-in process with Roger was thorough and professional. The property is beautiful. Not a single disappointment. The room and bath were spacious and well-appointed—such a fantastic touch with the complimentary mini-bar. We only spent a day as a layover on our journey to Florence. I wished we had more days. This property was more of a five-star and a masterclass on hospitality."
