We did have trouble with communication with the property owner regarding changing our reservation and the scent of the air freshener in the apartment was overpowering to the point it gave me a headache. "My husband and I took our kids (ages 13, nearly 3, and 18 months) to Eureka for a family mini vacation. This place is very well located on the quieter end of downtown, great for being a home base for the excursions we took with the kids. For my fellow parents, this spot may be a better fit if your kids are age 5 or older. I'm afraid my babies waking in the night probably disturbed our fellow renter upstairs and my 18mo broke one of the plates while there. 13 year old loved the bunk beds though!"
