"This property is a refurbished boat house. I realize that all of the pictures are accurate but the place is WAY BETTER than I expected. First of all, the space is HUGE, at more than 800 sq ft. It has a king size bed, a futon, a couch, a dining room table, a huge desk, a bar, a full kitchen with breakfast bar, a washer/dryer, and a bathroom with tub. The dock is right off the back of the property. And because it's a boat house, you're surrounded by water on three sides, which was just lovely. We...

"Susan Jeff are obviously seasoned and experienced hosts. Their impeccable attention to details is amazing! Susan greeted us Briefly and warmly, and then left us to ourselves. The apartment in their home in a newer, upscale development was very clean and spacious. They had left us little gifts each day and a helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet neighborhood, but 5-10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping."

There was every kind of amenity I could have needed including a washer/dryer (with detergent), a keurig machine (with k cups), and all the tools needed in the kitchen. The host even left a hairdryer for me when I noticed an empty hairdryer box under the bathroom sink. Some of the other reviewers mentioned no blinds. There were blinds for privacy. "This apartment is just a block away from Bowdoin, and conveniently located to everything in Brunswick. The apartment could use a bit of attention in some places, but overall it's very comfortable and there is lots of space for everyone to enjoy."

"Very relaxing vacation. The excellent weather certainly helped. We live locally so our adult children could come over for kayaking and dinners. The fire pit was great and we had s’mores every night. Just need to bring your own firewood. Having Wi-Fi was a plus. Dog friendly as it was fenced all around."
