"Every detail was attended to. The cottage was so new and clean with all the conveniences and no clutter. Poor Matlacha got hit hard by the hurricane BUT it felt great to support the local businesses as they recover and to come home to our cottage and spa/pool on the water. Just LOVED it!"

"This was our first "Snowbird" adventure. Our stay was 2 months. We were extremely grateful for the gracious welcome of our lovely hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating during our length of stay. This is a great location regarding the proximity to Ft Myers and Cape Coral venues especially the Ft Myers downtown events. The newly remodeled home has a quaint, cottage feel with every modern convenience. Comfortably clean. Wonderful stay. Awesome hosts. Would recommend."

"We really enjoyed our time here. The house is in a great location with plenty of privacy. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks, and the closeness of the put-in was great. Well stocked with everything we needed - even a stacked washer/dryer. Has a homey feel as another reviewer said. There is a grocery store nearby and a good amount of restaurants around. We would both highly recommend a stay here."

"The cottage was quite unique being located directly behind the owners residence in a neighborhood. The unit was perfect for my wife and I during our 2 night stay. It was clean and well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. The decor was beachy and appeared to be professionally done. The grounds outside the cottage was very nice with multiple sitting area’s to enjoy cocktails or coffee. The 2 rocking chairs were a nice touch and relaxing while enjoying beverages in the morning...

"The property was a studio style space tucked away in an area close to the lighthouse beach end of the island. I enjoyed the space and especially having a bike. For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. "I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. "We did not even stay at this property thanks to the host. We were about an hour away from the property when the host finally contacted us to let us know he double booked. He tried blaming VRBO stating that he tried contacting them. We ended up having to get a hotel room in which we then contacted VRBO and had no problem getting in touch with them and no problem getting a hold of them."

"I was unaware it would have been helpful to rent a car due to its location. The area and building was still under construction. Noisy during the week. No restaurant or food in the building. "We had a very nice stay at the tiny house! (Keep in mind, it is tiny) But very comfortable!! An unique experience and the property was outstanding compared to all the other units in the vicinity. It had a nice spacious canal front deck, and kayaks with a launching deck. Complete mini kitchen and great coffee preps. The beds were very comfortable and unit was very clean and updated.
