Our stay here was very good. Our first nights stay in Anchorage was extremely disappointing at a hotel next to the train station. If it was not for proximity to the early start to arrive at the train in the morning we would have immediately moved to the Sheraton which was much more pleasant for two additional nights in the city.

Would have preferred a walk-in shower but room was excellent with lovely view of the mountains. Our reservation was somehow lost but the hotel was very accommodating and gave us their best available rate.

Very old outdated

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. But, for over $500 a night, the room was extremely dated. The carpet and tables/cabinets were all chipped and looked to be 20+ years old. For $500 a night I would expect something a lot more up to date. I have stayed in best westerns for under $200 a night that were 10 times nicer than this.

Hotel is Okay. Breakfast was good. But the hotel charged me for 2 night stay at checkout even though Expedia already paid for my hotel. And the charge was not incidental. Expedia called and they said to speak to the Manager. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved. Hotel is not worth the double billing problem. I find it very sneaky on the hotel part to double bill
