Highly recommended

We stayed at the Hotel Elliott during a spur of the moment trip to Astoria one weekend in August. Centrally located in the historic downtown, the hotel is just a block off of commercial street and a very short walk to some excellent dining choices. With lovely views of the mouth of the Columbia River and the Astoria Column from the rooms and a breathtaking view of the Megler Bridge from the rooftop garden, it’s a great choice for a romantic getaway. The breakfast buffet, with cooked to order waffles and fresh fruit compute capped off an already wonderful stay in Astoria.

Traveler's tip on dining

Eat dinner at Clemente’s! If you’re looking for an unexpected twist on local favorites, especially seafood, you’re in for a real treat. Hipster chic with a menu that will please the closet foodie in anyone.

Definitely the place to stay in Astoria

Our first visit to the Elliott was very nice, and we’ll definitely stay there again on future visits to the area. The room was beautifully finished and the location is perfect, right in the middle of things.
