“If you are booking this hotel and you are planning on doing the cog railroad be advised it's about 45 minutes away. All roads are beautiful to and from with possible sightings of moose. Breakfast was good and for the most part the hotel was clean. The bathroom had a mold smell to it but over decent place to stay”
“The hotel is in a beautiful area and convenient to all things to do in the White Mountains.
Matt checked me in, arriving on a longboard [skateboard] and was cordial. Our room was spacious and well appointed and updated.
I was pleasantly surprised until I saw the glass shower doors. The hard water/soap scum, especially on the lower half, looked like nobody had cleaned them for a while.
I know from owning a lodging business, that glass shower doors require a LOT of extra attention to get clean……
“room size is good, but no services at all,for four days,we only have one soap, breakfast was
extremely bad, very little items, we did not eat it, and it started at 8.30, strange, will never come back again.”
“The motel provides basic accommodations. Was the room clean? Yes. Was it quiet? yes. I will say the room was very dated and showed serious signs of wear including cracked or missing grout on the bathroom floor, a pink tub right out the 1960's and the smallest bathroom sink you are likely to find outside of a camper. Bottom line, if you need a simple room it is fine for a 1, or maybe 2 night stay as long as you are ok with a very basic albeit clean room.”
