“The Wingate has gone downhill from our previous year's stay. To start, the elevator had a questionable aroma. The hallway carpets were dirty, stitched together, and had bleach stains. Coming into the room, the room itself was very presentable. Tip: Bring your own pillows, as these pillows are too small (they looked like couch decoration pillows). Also, you may want to bring your own mattress topper, as the beds were also hard. Also bring a fan because the AC was a wee bit temperamental. Moving……

The floor was not properly cleaned, I found a bug in the bathroom, and the hairdryer was even sticky, looking like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. While the service was great, the overall cleanliness definitely needs improvement.”

“Im sorry to say I ended up sleeping in a chair. I booked thru expedia and then called the motel directly to double check that I would have a wheelchair accessible room. Yes, the desk clerk said. The bed was at least a foot higher than my wheelchair seat, and there was no way I could transfer to the bed. Why are motels putting these new higher beds in what are supposed to be accessible rooms? Even the elderly and children have a hard time getting on them. The replacement TP was placed high on a……

“Dalvonta at the front desk was one of the best customer service people ive ever encountered. From check in, during the stay, till check out. Ive been in customer service my entire life. I'm 48. Truly top notch. The hotel itself is great, very clean and next to many places to eat, drink, and shop. 5 stars and 100%recommend. You wont be disappointed.”

“Breakfast was great; many choices. Staff always helpful and friendly. Wednesday night offered free drinks & dinner! The room was large, but one bed had an old mattress :(. The property is a bit old, but is well maintained. Our only complaint is that there was not daily room service. Towels did not dry unless I left the bathroom light/ fan on 24/7. I was able to pick up a clean set of towels from the front desk, but went 2 days in a row without room service & piles of wet towels on the floor.……
