SLOW check in- with only one person at the desk (she left in the middle of the our check in line to go make a bed for someone. She also answered calls and made check-in guests wait while she answered and talked to them instead of putting them on hold. Room was clean but very small. “This hotel needs a lot of maintenance. It must have had a serious leak for a long time as the smell of mildew is very strong, water damage to walls and ceilings. It is very sad to see how it wasn’t fixed when it should have been. The service on the other hand is excellent. Very kind people work there. They deserve to work in a well-maintained hotel as they are exceptional!! I hope the new owners will repair this hotel to its former glory! In the meantime, I’ll still book there. Just worried……
