"The resort was cleam and the staff were great. The problem with Sandy Haven is that the owner is not keeping up with day to day cost that keep a resort running smoothly. This is apparent from not having ice at the bar or even an ice machine (sometimes no red stripe), the front restaurant, Bongos, is closed and hot tub is covered up or out of service. The manager, Mr. Wright, is doing everything he can to make things work however with no funds avaiable to him that becomes impossible. The price should come down significantly. Not worth the money we spent. "

"It was a great view at the Palace on our 2nd night when we actually got to stay there. After a long day of travel we arrived at the hotel to find out we got moved to the property next door which was cheaper, we paid for the Palace and our friends were at the Palace. They shouldn't be able to move us and not let us know in advance. They made us check out of our room at noon the next day, but we couldn't check into the Palace until 3\. They should have been more accommodating to us and let us have a late check out."
